Advisors and Advisees,
The letter recommending portfolio summer school and whether or not the student benchmark was met is going to be sent out to parents/guardians very soon. Please make sure to have all of your portfolio work updated in your portfolio and by your advisor by June 7th to ensure the accuracy of the numbers being sent out. So, if there is any outstanding work please make sure to get it all scanned and inform your advisors so that there is no misinformation being sent home.

In order to guarantee that the numbers are correct, please:
• Open all files to see that items added are in fact in the portfolio
• Check items that require multiple parts to be considered complete are all in the portfolio
• Correct any operational errors
• Check that grades meet proficiency
• Move files into the expectation they rightfully belong
• Remember, items do not need to have reflections completed in order to be counted as a complete item.

If you have any questions regarding whether or not a piece is “portfolio worthy”, how to fix broken or non-operational files, or if a piece is in the correct expectation, please feel free to email Jon Kelly or Leanne Hackett or just stop by to see either of them.

Benchmarks are:
• To be a sophomore, students must have entered eight (8) portfolio items, three (3) of which must be from Expectations #1 and #2.
• To be a junior, students must have entered sixteen (16) portfolio items, six (6) of which must be from Expectations #1 and #2.
• To be a senior, students must have entered twenty-four (24) portfolio items, nine (9) of which must be from Expectations #1 and #2.

Thank you for all of your hard work during advisory and have a great summer!
